I am a clinical psychologist with a passion for research, teaching and science.
My research is focused on understanding how the ability to regulate physiological arousal influences emotion regulation, behaviour and mental wellbeing, in children and young people. Before academia, I worked as a clinical psychologist in private and public health services, involved in diagnostic assessment and psychological interventions.

I am a Lecturer in Child and Adolescent Mental Health at the University of Southampton UK, and an Honorary Assistant Professor of Psychology at the University of Nottingham Malaysia.
I am also Joint Editor of the Journal of Child Psychiatry and Psychology Advances and I co-lead the South East Asia Mental Health Consortium (SEAMHC).
